LBDFI directors were honored to visit Sri Lanka in June 2007 and make presentations to senior Bhantes including the Sangha Raja of the Siam Nikaya concerning the Annual Tipitika Chanting ceremony along with senior Abbots from Kandy, Minhintale, Anuradhapura and Columbo.
LBDFI directors also paid visits to Thailand and Myanmar and met the Sangharaja of Thailand and Senior Abbots and Bhantes from Thailand, as well as Senior Abbots and Bhantes from Myanmar concerning the annual Tipitika chanting ceremony. Visits are now being planned to Bangladesh, Cambodia and Laos to further develop interest in the ceremony.
